
Contest Terms & Conditions
Terms and conditions:
1. This contest runs from 7/1/2017 – 13/1/2017.
2. How to qualify: Post the most creative lines for the A, B and C dialogue boxes in the comment section.
3. Fifty (50) winners will be selected at judges’ discretion. Each winner will be awarded with 6 packs of CUCKOO Ang Pow packet.
4. The winners will be announced on 16/1/17. Upon announcement, the winners will need to send their personal contact details to the CUCKOO Facebook inbox to receive their prize.
Winners are encouraged to respond within 4 days upon announcement of their names in the winners’ announcement by 19/1/2017.
Prize(s) must be accepted as provided, and is not transferable or exchangeable for cash/other items and subject to the terms and conditions set by the Organiser. The winners must produce identification upon collection of prize(s) within the stipulated period. Uncollected prizes will be forfeited and donated to charity.
The Organiser retains the right to substitute the prizes with an alternative product(s) of equal or greater value.
The decision of the Organiser is final and no correspondence will be entertained.
The Organiser is not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorised access to or alteration of user or member communications, or any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or line, computer online system, server or provider, computer equipment or software, or failure of e-mail or participants on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet.
The Organiser reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to validate and check the authenticity of the participants’ personal particulars and disqualify any participant who is found or suspected of tampering with the Contest submission process or the operation of the Contest, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who is in violation of the Conditions of Access of the Website and the Facebook Page.
The Organiser reserves the right to pursue legal action against any individual it believes to have undertaken fraudulent activities or other activities harmful to the Contest, the Contest submission process, the Website or the Facebook Page.
All entries shall become the property of the Organiser.
By entering the Contest, each participant consents to the Organiser’s privacy policy available on the Website.
The Organiser collects the participants’ personal information for the purpose of administering the Contest, and notifying and announcing successful participants.
The Organiser may disclose the participants’ personal information to other parties, including those involved in administering the Contest, notifying and announcing the successful participants, and advertising and PR agencies.
By entering into the Contest, each participant also consents to the Organiser using their personal information for future marketing purposes, unless otherwise advised by the participant.
The participants may access and correct their personal information held by the Organiser by writing to the Organiser.
The Organiser reserves the right to amend or remove the Contest at any time without notice.
The Organiser and its agents and Facebook will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage of any nature whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained as a result of or in connection with this Contest, or any tax liability of any participant, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook.
If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser and which prevents the Organiser from complying with these Terms and Conditions, the Organiser will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation and the Organiser reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest.
